Feeling Under the Weather

After thirteen years of not being sick, I have finally caught the lurgy that is going around.  Special thanks goes to my son who was kind enough to share it with me. He has been unwell since last Thursday and is still home sick.  Diagnosis, "man-flu!"
I woke up not well on Sunday morning, but have soldiered on until now.

Today it feels like I have been run over by a truck! Hopefully I can get some much needed rest this week. The housework will have to wait as will everything else...

Luckily I have plenty of vitamin C on hand. Lemon and honey drinks plus mandarin and orange juice straight from the tree.

Be back soon.

  1. That's not good to hear. Rest up and it can all wait. Being the great homemaker you are, things won't fall too far behind with a few days off. Hope you are feeling lots better soon,

    Cheers - Joolz xx

  5. We have had something here too Tania and in the spirit of generosity I passed whatever I had onto my hubby who now has a chest infection and is on antibiotics. I dosed myself up with Astroforte and started gargling with Betadine as soon as I got a sore throat and didn't get it so bad. However, I don't think it was the full blown flu which from the sounds of it is what you have. I hope you feel better soon.
